The Motorola R5 uses a wide-band speaker paired with acoustic feedback suppression, so voices stay clean even when the volume is cranked to max. Workers can choose between three pre-loaded audio profiles or create custom curves in CPS 2.0, making the Motorola R5 the first new Motorola radio that adapts to people instead of the other way around.

Built for noisy pockets

At only 122 mm high and 285 g with the slim battery, the Motorola R5 is smaller than most smartphones yet houses a 40 mm speaker that delivers commercial-roar audio. A recessed accessory connector prevents broken pins when the radio is clipped inside a cargo pocket, while the anti-slip TPU over-mould keeps the new Motorola radio in your hand even when oil or rain is present.

Simple fleet management

IT departments appreciate built-in WPA3 Wi-Fi that lets them push code-plugs, firmware, and emergency alerts to hundreds of units overnight.
